We aim to be as competitive as possible on price, if you bring us a written quotation or web quote for the same product and service at a lower price than we quote, we’ll try our very best to match it.
We’ll always send you a clear quote for the work we are going to do, including the template and fitting, plus any extras like sinks and taps, upstands etc.
When you place an order with us you are accepting the terms below;
Once your order has been placed, we require a deposit of 50% of the order value payable 7 days prior to the agreed templating date. The remainder of the payment is payable on the day we fit the worktops. We reserve the right to charge interest of 2.5% on any late payments.
If you wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. If an order is cancelled within 7 days of the booked templating date, you will be liable for any of the costs incurred by us (this may include delivery to return products and cost of stock which cannot be returned).
If your order is cancelled while we are fabricating your worktops, we cannot return the material to the supplier, and you will be liable for the full cost of the order.
When you place an order with us we will arrange a date and time to template your worktops, usually once you know when your kitchen is being fitted. If you change the template date this will impact on the fitting date, but we will do our best to incorporate your re-scheduled template into the factory production at the earliest convenience.
When we template, we will also require your sink to be mounted and your taps and hob (if you are having one) to be onsite. If they are not onsite and we have to make a second visit to template you will charged an additional template visit of 150. Once the template has been completed, fitting is generally within 5 working days.
Please refer to out detailed Template and Fitting Guide for more information.
If, when we arrive to template the worktop the dimensions have changed, we reserve the right to amend the price inline with the additional material required. We will of course tell you this and issue a new quote before we proceed.
When we fit your new worktops, our fitters work carefully and respectfully in your home, using dust sheets and removing their shoes on site, unless you say otherwise. They will clean up after themselves, so all you are left with are your new worktops to admire!
In the unlikely event that there is a delay in us receiving goods from a supplier we’ll let you know what has happened, and if the expected delivery time extends beyond 30 days you can cancel your order and receive a full refund. We will keep in touch with you during the whole production process and keep you updated on any revised dates.
When your material arrives in our factory, we inspect all slabs for blemishes, imperfections and bows. Any material not upto our quality control standards is rejected and returned to the manufacturer and replacement slabs requested. This most likely will impact on your scheduled fitting date, but because we care we want your worktops to be 100% right, rather than simply rush a job through that is below our standards.
We are happy to visit and inspect your kitchen to discuss your requirements and give advice. We offer a free measurement service if you are just replacing your existing worktops and will provide a quote based on our measurements. Final measurements are then taken at the templating stage. If you would like to provide us with your own measurements, we have a handy Worktop Planner you can download and print off.
You can view samples of granite and quartz in our showroom, and take samples home on a loan basis, which we will require to be returned as we generally only get one sample per product from our suppliers. We work on trust and do not ask customers for a deposit on the samples taken, just to simply return them within a week.
For products which may have a lot of movement and variation, we may recommend you view the slab prior to purchasing. We arrange these inspection visits on your behalf and you are under no obligation to purchase after your visit. If you like the slabs you have viewed, we can reserve them for you with a small deposit.
If you require any help after you have made your purchase, or have any questions at all, please contact us. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service please contact us and we will aim to resolve any issues quickly.
If we feel it is necessary that an independent party inspect the work, we will arrange for a representative of the manufacturer of the product to visit and inspect. In the event that we are not able to resolve any dispute we would aim to use mediation rather than a legal remedy in the first instance.
